For sale: Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D Nikkor ED-IF AF lens

The ultimate wide zoom from Nikon. See Evin's review thread here:

I bought it new from B&H less than three months ago -- used it only once, on my Redrock M2. Perfect condition -- still have the original packaging and everything.

I'm selling because my still camera is Canon and, with the Birger mount coming (hopefully) soon, I'm switching to all-Canon glass for both photo & video work.

It can be yours for $1420, shipping included. Eighty bucks off the B&H price. PM me if you're interested.

I have great shots with combo Canon 40D and Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D Nikkor ED-IF AF using Nikon F to Canon EOS adapter.

The lens has all the manual controls of focus and aperture.

The same will do with Birger EF mount on RED.

I know it's capable of doing great work on the Birger Canon mount with a simple adapter, but I'm really excited about the "smart" capabilities of the mount. Combined with the fact that all my still work is with Canon, and I'm still leaning towards getting the super-wide Canon L "equivalent."

But if I can't get $1350 for it ($150+ off the B&H price), I'll just hold on to it and go the manual route. No big loss.

Since it sells for a bit less on ebay (Around $950) i think you better hold on to it.
