    Gotta luv you Ameriguns

Just remember to leave the none RED hardware behind when you come shooting across the border.

Reminds me, I better go shopping for a flack jacket before I head off to Vegas.

Nah. Skip the flack hacket. Cut the sleeves off your jeans jacket and get a hat. Or a bandana.

Oh, and by the way there is a old movie theater that has been shut down for years in the lovely little town of "DRAIN" just off of I-5 that would make a wonderful screening room for 2/4k! lol
Things sure have changed here on Walton Mountain.

Yep, pappy. Since them RED folks arrived. Now it's all hi def this and digital that and whatnot. It makin me ornery.

    Night, Johnboy.

    Well All,
This has been fun. I tossed that crash camera thing in yesterday cause some of the threads seemed to be getting a bit tense and filled with terse thoughtless postings and thought a little comic relief was in order. I just want to say thank you all for the excelerated learning curve about things I don't know squat about. (I readem all, then again I also read technical journals for light reading). lol
Mayby down the road, a thread on humorous location happenings, rural, (you know,"What the hell is that thang") or other wise could be fun.
    Once again, thank you all.
    Hey Bro Anansi,
Yeah it's gotten a bit tight at the border to the "Great White". Easier to go south where you just pay your way. hehe
Speaking of paying... whats this crap about Amuricans having to pay ten bucks to get back into their own country? I thougth we bought Canada!

    Chuck

LOL!! Chuck & Gibby - you guys crack me up -

You know, it would be really amazing if a bunch of "colorful" RED reservationists "documented" their first shoots & tests with thier REDs and somebody cut all that together - there is a lot of color in RED ...

    Chuck -

I will want a crash housing for sure. I used 2 or 3 with 35mm eyemos on SUPER TROOPERS - besides the obvious crash stunts and pyro gags - it's really good for car stunts where you don't plan to crash ... but you just might ...

I like that idea! Editorially it would be somewhere between "Jackass" and "Smokey and The Bandit", but you're right, the colorful personalities who put RED One in motion in the field, will be a story unto itself. Floating a small camera around the process, as a POV/reality 3rd person's eyes would be very cool indeed! I suspect parts of that "Making Of..." footage would make many a Directors Cut for DVD release - or at least credit roll fodder. It would provide some much-needed comic relief! A sense of humor is one of the attributes I look for when I hire my crews - they need it when they work with me!

The U.S. didn't buy Canada. America tried to invade Canada many years ago but were butt whooped (something I learned a lot of US schools do not teach). From what I hear the Canadian military is still quite a force. Canada has sea hawk helicopters that crash frequently, 5 used submarines they bought from the UK that start on fire and a nasty birgade of suicide beaver bombers.
