RedCine can export a QuickTime 1080p DNxHD 115 file.

I then import that file into Avid.

But the import into Avid is rather slow. I'd have thought it would be really fast if the RedCine export is already in DNxHD. There's no transcoding for Avid to do, is there? Seems like Avid is transcoding this, given the time it takes to create video from the QT.

We are looking into the issue. There seems to be something in the code that is slowing it down. It is not decoding/re-encoding, but taking its time doing something. When working properly, it should be as fast as a file copy.

    Aha, that's what I thought!

    Thank you again, Michael.
