Default 360 Degree lens

Anyone know of any 360 degree lens? I found this one: http://www.bugeyedigital.com/product...036-0360d.html.

With that particular one, I can buy it to fit a Nikon, then just purchase the Nikon mount from RED.

I'm looking for something that can shoot all the way around.

Yah, I know it's not a lens....I'd have to buy a Nikon Lens to adapt it to, which is a lot of glass to go through just to get what I want....Thanks for the search!

it weigh 1.1kg and 180 degree view angle.

This company has the software that works with that to do Panoramic Video. The great thing about this solution in combination with the RED one is the fact that you can use an appropriate lens.

This has been a long time coming...I read about it 3 years ago and they appear to have finally pulled it off.

Make sure you check out this software. You'll like it!

http://www.eyesee360.com/videowarp/

Download the player and the examples. Keep in mind the example footage was all shot with HDV and DV fixed-lens video cameras. The trick to the Kaidan 360 is focal length and depth-of-field. If you rig up a Red with the right lens and settings to the Kaidan, then run that footage through this VideoWarp software, it will be a whole different world.

Make sure to check out the implosion of three rivers stadium shot in video panorama.

From VideoWarp spec sheet...
When you're producing traditional video content, VideoWarp offers a new way to get the shot of your dreams. By capturing content with a 360 degree camera, you can control your viewpoint with exacting precision from the comfort of an editing booth. Pan, tilt and zoom the virtual camera with control points over time, and create multiple cuts from the same footage from different angles. No motion control apparatus or re-takes are required. You can even simulate custom lenses for your shot. Once you've made the perfect cut, export to a linear movie for use in the rest of your production.
