Story is the king.
RED really is ushering in the democratization of filmmaking just as computers helped usher in the democratization of music making. So many more people will be able to get quality gear, but without a good story, or good skillset, the gear will only produce technically superior images. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Terrific! I can't wait to try out your native support on my favorite editing system (CS4 is a huge step forward, by the way). Thank you.

The table seems a bit broken.
The RED ONE is supposed to be available for at-once delivery. Does that mean 12 months? The Scarlet FF35 sensor is 36x24 mm, not 35x24mm. The Scarlet 2/3" should be 5MP (3072x1620 = 4 976 640, rounds up) and the RED ONE should be 10,4 MP (4520x2304 = 10 414 080). Yes, they're like that in the brochure. The REDCODE in the EPICs is 225 or 500, not 22 or 50. Not that any of this is a big deal... |
