Close.. we will release a detailed spec/comparison sheet of the lineup soon.

Remember, We changed alot of features and specs over the last while beefing up the Scarlets so it will take us a while to put them all together.

Jarred/Jim/or RED team,
Any idea what the crop factor would be on the 2/3" Scarlet for Canon Lenses? Just wondering...

I personally think it would be worth the inconvenience at the airport to have another great "Look how ridiculous TSA is!" story. I almost want someone to question why my camera says "Bomb" on it. I may even write Bomb on my toothbrush just to see what happens:) Seriously, what's the worst thing that can happen? They x-ray it and see its actually not a bomb. Problem solved.

Maybe the answer is the IO module, and Jarred might have had a typo in all the rush that Red headquarters must be in nowadays.
There is a very thin module with a Drive port on it available for people to use existing drives... it's not the standard IO module :)

Either way this makes it a little more complicated. Now it appears that the only way to get a super-light-weight setup will be to separate the module(s) from the camera via the planed "umbilical" connection. But how can I feel disappointed with all the other GOOD NEWS...

Default EVF and eyewear

Quote:
A little off-topic, but how does the EVF play with eyeglasses? I can't see worth beans without my glasses, so taking them off to look through the viewfinder isn't really an option for me. I'm trying to visualize a glasses lens against the EVF rubber without getting all smudgy & distorted ;)
RED's electronic viewfinders RED-EVF / Bomb-EVF have a pretty wide range diopter adjustment. So you my be O.K there.

Any idea how much weight will it add to the camera?
