Interesting, were the presentations different for different groups? I didn't see Dino or any functioning DSMC prototypes in the "B" group. Sounds cool...!

Me? I made up my mind as soon as they first posted the specs and prices.

I am buying a fixed, renting Epic S35's, and getting more Red goodness as I can justify it and afford it for my personal kit.

Red Gunner pics. This thing is awesome. I wish I had a picture of it with the bipod legs on it when it's in "sniper" mode.

Red Matte box.

This is 2-3 versions old. It will have rotating filter trays. It mounts right onto the lens with these snazzy interchangeable lens mounts(most impressive). It will also have a swing away rail mount option.

Sorry J Davis, but I think the way I worded things might have gotten you a bit excited. From what the guy at the booth said, it sounded like it might be nearer to the end of summer...

Yeah sorry about that. When I said baked in, that was definitely not the best way to put it. What I meant to say is that you'll be able to see that look when ur filming, so you can get an idea of what it's going to look like using the settings you laid down in RedCine-X.

Also a side note for some people(like me):

Redcine-X is pronounced RED- sin (as in the 7 deadly sins ) - E - X

I always assumed it was RED - sine ( as in cosine, tangent, etc) -X

What is the wheel at the bottom of this picture?

I saw it in one of Roberto's pictures too.

It's a knob handle thing for the gunner. So instead of having the handles, you have these little rubber knobs to hold onto.

I wish I snapped more photos of all the set ups, but I was to busy ooohing and awwwing.
