Default Premiere of THE NOTHING MEN

Last night we saw THE NOTHING MEN at USC. This feature was shot entirely in RED and was incredibly powerful. The combination of cinematography, RED, a great script and gripping dialogue performed beautifully made for quite a display of what you can do with a RED camera, $400,000 and a talented cast and crew (and great support from RED, of course). If you want to hear part of the great Q&A that followed, CLICK HERE. I shot this on a "flip", a palmsized camcorder that shoots one hour of video in SD, held in my hand. We plan to shoot our next feature in RED and with rave reviews for the camera, the company and results like we saw last night, we're more convinced than ever.

There are four clips on this Facebook page - one introducing the film, one from the Q&A and two of RED's staff at checkin.

That was brilliant storytelling. You can tell that Mark has had that story incubating and maturing in his mind for some time and it was beautifully translated by all involved. Great performances, wonderful photography, and it is absolutely mind-blowing that this was done with $400,000. I shouted it a few times that night and I'll say it again "Bravo!"

Check out Lemac's website. www.lemac.com.au

There is some behind the scenes footage from this production, talking to DOP, Camera Op, Focus Puller etc.
Very informative about the whole system.
