Default Look Files made easy?

I am looking for a simple solution to create look files and be able to supply them to a post processing facilities to apply in a simple and useful way.

With RED I can create the look files in REDALERT but the facilities I have used thus far have not been streamlined enough to simply attach my look and generate dailies.

I was excited about the announcement of REDRUSHES.

When I downloaded it I was even more excited to see a tab for "LOOK SOURCE".

Ideally I would like to take an interface like this and be able to select a folder with a look file that I created in, say, REDALERT, and apply that look to a quicktime render.

It would be great if one column could even allow me to designate what look file to apply to each shot.

Simple idea, but I have yet to figure out how to do this in any of the available software.

I guess this is possible in REDCINE? But when I saw the simple interface of REDRUSHES...and those columns, I thought...YESSSSS! That is it...just add a column for my look file and BAM...instant, simple dailies with a look.

Dylan,

I would be happy to help you out with all of these questions. I'm in Toronto and I would be glad to spend some time with you helping solve this stuff.

Timecode, and also the option to crop 2:1 to 16x9 (although I'd rather have timecode first). Also, we need m2v export for DVDs.

Already implemented. Select "fit height" from the fit/stretch poop up.
