Looking for experiences in CC world . Please Read It .

Good day , My name is Biba , and i am DP :)

I now that what you will read under it can be funny for you , but
trust me i need it , because i have huge problems wirh CC in My
country , and all i want is to study basics of CC , sow please read
my team .

In new Year i have free time and budget and i want to spend my
free time for my education .

What i am looking for , is CC experiences in Scratch world.
My company wants to buy Scratch , and for me as DP i want to study
basics of CC , and study it on Scratch . I don not want to became
Colorist , but i want understand all CC workflow.

At this moment in my country i can not found any colorist how can share with me his experiences , because there
is no colorist at all :) .
But as DP i want to study what i can do in Post Production with my
footage , and it will help me to be more relaxed on set.
At this moment i have free time , and some money to pay for my trip
and hotel out from my country , and i can spend time for my experiences
in CC industry .
What i am looking for : Small or Huge Post production Studio , Where
i can be a part of CC of project. I will not ask allot of questions
and will just study maximum from CC job.
And also i will not be an Colorist sow i will not be and concurred of
any company :)

P.S I am not looking for only Scratch WorkFlow , we also have Luster
and Apple Color . Sow don not want to study software i want to study
basics of CC .
And also i can pay for some time that i will spend with colorist.
I now that it is strange topic, but i thing that some RedUSers will
help me with it . Thanks All for attention .

Vigen, I will be grading two smaller jobs in the second half of JAN in Las Vegas and then one feature in Mexico City in February. Don't think of this as Your primary option, but if You do happen to be around at that time, send me an e-mail to peter (at) derylgroup (dot) com. My background is with DaVinci, Luster and Color. I know what You are going through - I was born and spent the first 23 years of my life in then-called Czechoslovakia, now Slovak Republic. I know exactly what You are after...

you might want to check out fxphd.com They have good courses on the basics of color correct/color theory and they also have a scratch color correct class taught by Jeff Olm the colorist on Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D and Dreamwork's Monsters Vs. Aliens.

I'm an experienced Scratch colorist and I got allot from those classes.
