Can't wait!
I can get RT to DPX but when I choose a DNxHD quicktime it ends up worse than 2:1 (which is still ok'ish) I'm 'assuming' there will be improvements here as writing a quicktime wrapper and doing a DNxHD codec encode are easy compared to the wavelett decode and debayer? thanks Michael |

Is there any reason that I should not want to use the DNX-HD files that RED Rocket™™Cine X can export at this time?

We are working out some last issues with the AMT/SDK and it should be ready fairly soon. It will geneate an ALE as well so the workflow is to put all the MXF files into the MediaFile folder first, import ALE and do a relink. Media now in your bin with all the lovely metadata you have come to expect.

LOVE this, especially because now a MAC can be involved in that process...

Could use more slots in that Mac though... not much I can do when I have an MC on Unity with DX hardware attached.
