Same story - performance will vary from that stated by manufacturer - and performance for high-bandwidth sequential file write is where it really counts. No doubt RED will test them out, but I wouldn't hold your breath on it, and I really wouldn't buy any of these just yet.

You beat me to it I was just loading up reduser to check if that had been asked yet.

I imagine RED has a box full of new CF Cards every month to test out.

These cards were posted two months ago:
http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6166

We don't even have a red approved 16gb model let alone a 24gb one so I am not holding my breath. I'm thinking since the red cards are currently lexar powered, the next 16gb is being probably developed by Lexar right now.

Yes indeed.. we try and get every card as soon as it comes out.. most of the times the manufacture's speed ratings are either BS, inconsistent card to card, or they don't play nice with the way RED writes to the cards... but every once in awhile we get surprised :)

I was gonna say...

Ted said several months ago that by the time Scarlet and Epic were out, Red would have their 32GB CF cards.

Yummy. Red #3971 is very much looking forward to it. About 15min of 4k is a very useable length even for interviews. 1000 feet of 4k :)

Will they be about twice as much as the 16gig cards?
