Looks like something is brewing over at the saloon.

I have my rather obvious guesses, but I suspect there's even more going on here than meets the eye.

I see an XLR connector on that bad boy? @_@

DSMC2 is alive and well. Time to shut down the DSMC3 wishlist thread haha.

Don't know if RED would allow for module upgrades, but that would be radical :)

    I think it's something new.

Jarred's kept this one from me, so I can do my wild guessing. I'm thinking it's a Pro I/O Module for DSMC2 cameras. And I think there's more in there than the obvious.

We have had the Base I/O Expander, but I think this might be Pro I/O Expander or similar.

I think we're on the same page. This might kit things out to the tune of a more DXL flavored build, without the fuller size commitment perhaps.

We'll have to bloody wait and see.

Just for people keeping track of the new stuff for DSMC2 in the last like 60 days:
    - Whatever this bad boy is.
    - Teradek Bolt DSMC2 (wireless video module)
    - Teradek ACI (a different take on the sidekick, more standardized approach, more buttons with language support)
    - Tilta TE-ND (PL Mount with built in electronic ND filter. Will cover Monstro on the final version, similar to the PV/LEE LCND, just behind the glass)

What a time to be alive!!! Lol. I think I see an XLR input on there as well, bottom center of the frame.

I messed with the exposure to see if USB-A or USB-C and that USB port is USB-A. I demand an explanation haha.

I can't emphasise how much the Revolt Expander changed for the better my experience of using Red cameras. Fascinated to see what this module will do different to the Expander.

    Just after we’d purchased a V-Lock I/O Expander, too...

If this is the successor to the I/O Expander, here’s hoping for an upgrade path!
