Just got confirmation on the RED BP battery specs, and it's a bit surprising!

    RED REDVOLT BP is a 6300mAH, 45Wh.

This puts it squarely in between the two BPs and should power Komodo for about 1.8-ish hours each. Guessing in practice depending on usage that's about 1 hour, 50 minutes per battery.

2X RED Monstro 8K VV Bodies, 1X RED Komodo, and a lot of things to use with them.

Bought loads of BP-915 and saying it's not authorised battery. I thought canon BP-915 was authorised

It's turning off when you try do anything. Just tried to media format my card and it just went black. Then when I plugged it in works fine.

Anybody having issues charging Red approved Batteries via the Camera?
Sorry if this post was already discussed but I search and could not find anything.

Not yet... Hope not, up until now no problems... but... Cannot seem to be getting the battery info on the LCD or on the mini monitor...
I know that some batteries are NOT CHIPPED... but what about IDX?

I don't see anything on Red.com about chargers for these. Assume anything that will charge the canons will work?

That's been my experience so far with the several different brands of batteries I have here. I'll probably order up a couple of the REDs this week. I didn't jump on them immediately because I have a bunch of Canons and other ones. But I do like their capacity.

Yes, died mid-take while syncing sound by timecode. Our DIT checked the footage and it was all fine.
